So who all is starting Kindergarten this year?

I know there are several moms of Kindergarteners on here. So who is starting school this year? Madison could technically start, but we opted to wait one more year since her birthday is so close to the cut-off. I thought I'd regret my decision, but now that the time has actually come I'm glad she's not starting on Monday.

Peyton starts the 22nd We opted not to send her last year (she is a Sept baby) and I do not regret my decision for a second. She is tiny and would be one of the youngest so I figured it wouldn't hurt to wait.

She is so excited to start!!

Not quite related to this post, but my daughter will be 3 on August 19th. How does this whole cut-off date thing work. Can she start school when she's 4 & just a few days shy of being 5 or does she have to wait until she's almost 6?

Almost six.

She will have to turn five by July 31 to start school with the new laws.

The cut-off date is July 31st. Elsie's birthday is September 5th, so we have to wait until 2013 to send her to Kindergarten. You will probably have to wait on you little one too. I think Elsie will be ready, but we have to follow the rules.

Brayden starts on the 17th. I can't believe it -- he's ready, I'm pretty much ready (but, I'm sure I'll shed a few tears that day!). We have his open house on Monday night; he's so excited to meet his teacher!

Rilyn starts on Monday. I still cant believe he is old enough to go. We had his teacher meet & greet lastnight and he was so excited to see his room and teacher....and WHEN did kindergarteners start getting lockers? We had to explain to him that he was sharing and that he needed to keep his stuff on his side that has his name on it...I swear I am going to be a mess come Monday.

Noah is starting on Monday. He's on the younger side with a July birthday, but I think he'll do fine. We met his teacher last night and saw his classroom. He is so excited for his first day, we've had a countdown on our fridge since August 1st.

D starts tomorrow

While she is very ready this momma is NOT and I swear the hubby teared up a bit when he was giving her hugs and kisses before bed. J will be 3 tomorrow (double wammy monday!) So he won't go until he is 6...which kinda sucks because he already is so big for his age.
