Out of something like a couch. I wouldn't want to scrub and make the fabric pill up, don't want to use peroxide because I know it can sometimes bleach the material. I've been using ice and a rag (just blotting with the rag) and it's getting a lot of it up but I'm not sure I'll be able to get all of it up. There's not much but DS1 has been getting a bloody nose all day since EARLY this morning.
Re: Getting blood out
hydrogen peroxide usually does it for me
It might take several attempts, depending on how much and how dry.
Try it on the back of the couch in a spot that won't show to test for bleaching.
Borax and a little powder detergent with just enough water to make a paste, use just a little bit so you don't get a white spot, but this gets all the blood stains out that we had when our dog would wag his tail so hard and then the tip would start bleeding. Good luck!
