weird confession
I think this shows how weirdly morbid I am.
Some times, okay a lot of times, I check the obituaries before I send out mail to patients. weird, right?
I am about to send a certified letter to a patient who has followed up, but i checked the obits first.
I've found out patients who owed money have died by doing this. Sometimes you can get a feel for patients, like ignoring a bill would be out of character for them, so if the balance is old I'll check.
That's so morbid. I have issues.clearly.

In your line of work, I don't think it is morbid at all. It is life.
But Sara- that cracks me up, guess that shouldn't surprise me b/c when my brother was a bartender/ in the restaurant industry they would do the same thing. Except they would check Manatee, Pinellas and Pasco too depending on where the persons usual hangouts are.
