Well, I thought it'd be nice to share with you ladies, since I was treated so well here, that we got our interview date for October 4th. Our fiancee (K1) visa process is getting to an end, and I still can't believe I'm going to marry!!!!
and leave my parents, house, friends, dogs.. omg, I'm freaking out... haha
I feel such a relief now, we're waiting on this since March and having this final date, and being able now to just relax, enjoy my time here in Brazil, it feels good. I have all the documents ready on my part, only thing missing is my fianc?'s part, but next month he'll be flying here to bring it all and attend the interview with me. I'll surely be nervous, but having my angel holding my hand will make it way better. Can't wait to fly back home with him!
And a big ''aw'' to my in-laws, helping us all the way, with the flights, wedding, everything, they're amazing. So ladies, prayers are welcome, I'm very confident with this interview, we love each other so much and it's clear to see, God is being so good to us, I know everything will be fine. Guess this is all... Good weekend to everyone!
P.S: sorry about any english error.
Re: It's final!
Congrats!! It's the great feeling when you get the date for the interview. I know it took a huge weight off our shoulders. I'm sure everything will go smoothly from now on.
Just curious was your FI invited with you for the interview in your email. For my H's I wasn't allowed to go in with him and had to wait outside the embassy. Very annoying and nerve racking. But either way it will be great to have your FI around during the time.

Thanks, the consulate here in Brazil allows the petitioner to attend the interview, he'll wait in line with me outside the consulate and they let him in. It's pretty easy, and yes it's a relief, from now on it's just wait until we're together again.
Well that will be nice for both of you! It was terrible waiting outside for 2 hours and horrible for my husband who was inside. It will be nice for you to have company while you wait. So much of the interview day is just sitting around and waiting. Yuck!

Oh yea, I'd freak out if I wasn't allowed to have him there with me but it will be great.
Thank you ladies!

A huge congratulations! What a nice relief and now the countdown, like you said, until you two are reunited. After all of the visa 'crap' that comes with marrying someone with a different nationality, it's a relief to just be together and be married.
Thankyou, this will be the best countdown since we started the process, for sure! Once he gets here, we will be a few weeks from the interview and waiting will be much easier. It is a big relief now, to realize that soon we'll be done with all of this and do the only thing we wanted since the beginning... Be together, love each other and marry! phew!
Thanks alot ladies, now I'm just finishing all of paperwork, checking everything.. he is doing the same, it feels great!
