Hiring a printer?

I've been thinking of framing some quotes to use as wall art. I want to make them bigger than the standard size my printer will allow and maybe on a pretty patterned or colored background. Can I pay a local printer to do this? Would they do things in quantities of just one? And do you think it would cost me an arm an a leg? Anyone ever done this?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: Hiring a printer?

  • You may try going through Etsy and having an artist there deal with the printing of it. I have someone that I've done a few things through and so have other friends, she's great to work with:

    Eden Creative Studio

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • If I were going to do this, I would probably make the images myself in photoshop and then either 1) upload to a printing website like zazzle or 2) take the digital image into a printing place like Kinkos.

The only things I have ever used an actual printer for was screen printing, and they insisted on quantities over 100.
