board and batten
anyone local install board and batten in their home? i really want to do it but everyone i talked to isnt digging it. just wondering if its more of a regional thing....

Ha! We just installed board in batten in one of our bedrooms and it looks amazing! Suprisingly, it really wasn't that hard. We bought all the supplies from BMC for $120.00 and borrowed the tools from my dad (you could rent them from home depot if you don't have access to tools). We're not very crafty, but I'm amazed at how professional it looks.
If you think you want to do this as a DIY I have a lot of tips that we figured out along the way that really helped. I would be more than happy to share how we did it, and give some insight on things that made the project easier.
