CNY place for lunch?
Hello, Upstate Nesties!! It's been a while since I've popped in to say to hello on this board.
I'm coming up to Syracuse next week. A friend and I have plans on one of the days to "lunch like old ladies." I'm so out of the loop on restaurants that are open for lunch. Willing to drive to Skaneatles or Caz or similar distance. No budget in mind. Any recommendations for a place to have a nice, tasty lunch? TIA.

The best one that comes to mind for a girl's lunch is Bittersweet in Armory Square. It's a wine & desert bar... but they do serve light lunches (or you could skip real food and just indulge... either way you'll be happy).
Dino BBQ is also a Syracuse classic.
Lemongrass, Empire, PJ's... all Armory Square... so yummy!
Francesca's in Little Italy is delicious!!! And this time of year their patio is perfect!

I was thinking something a little nice, maybe a bit more upscale. Hmm, the last place I went was at the restaurant at Mirbeau, in Skaneatles. Not quite what I had in mind this time.
Gotcha... for more upscale I would say definitely Francesca's or maybe even Atilio's... both Italian

I have heard good things about Opus in Armory Square, but never been there myself.
