Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Finally!!! :)
We have the DVD of our wedding pictures!!! Only took a little over a year 
Our photographer worked with my cousin, and is my MOH's FIL's BFF. Ha. And everyone knows he beats to his own drummer. And he doesn't do a ton of weddings anymore (only 6 or so a year). We had a short engagement (7 months, set the date at the 6 month time point!), and we were planning from out of town. I knew he did good work... simple & good. And he was in our price range (we did get recommendations from other people... but they were double what he charged).
So... the trade off... being persistent and patient all at once. He was cool about things- like he was on vacation the week my dad had the stroke- and he heard about it and had his son print out any picture with my dad from the wedding! And for much of the fall & spring, pictures were the last thing on my mind (moving/new job/my dad/selling condo/moving again/3x as much job responsibility thrust upon me, etc). And it is now so fun to look at everything! Hopefully by September we will have the actual album!!
