total AW. (very picture heavy) PIPs!!
We took pictures today so here's the obligatory AW post.
My ILs have 8x10 frames of each grandkid on the wall. Help me decide which ones. 1 of each kid or 2 of both of them? Here are some of my favorites. We got a bunch of good ones this time.
(not a great picture because Amelie was getting restless and I wore awful jeans not expecting to be in any pictures.)
We could NOT find a dress to go with Amelie's shoes and rosette from Tiff and Amy. This is what we ended up with. Amelie was too tired to care at this point. We'll try again another day in this dress.
I know Amelie has some reddish birthmarks on her forehead and by her eye but these pictures made me realize just how much they stand out. I don't notice them. The doctor said they'll fade. I'm afraid that if they don't she'll be asking to wear make up waaaaay too early. For now they're fine, just more pronounced than I had realized.
So which ones should I print in 8x10s for the ILs??

I love the first one of Owen and the fourth of Amelie--the one of the two of them (maybe the 5th?) where Owen is looking down is adorable!!!

I like #1 and #3 of individuals. I love #11 of them together. They're both looking down and making the same face. Although, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Nate was born with the reddish birthmark on his forehead too....the only time I notice it anymore is when he is mad or is crying like crazy!
My vote is for the second one of Amelie and the one of Owen further down after the pictures of the two of them together. Tough choice, you really did get some good shots!
I wouldn't worry too much about the birthmarks (although, as a mother I know this is nearly impossible!). When I was born with a strawberry hemangioma, similar to this, but on my nose. The doctors told my parents that I would need plastic surgery if it didn't go away by the time I was 2 (I *think* it was 2), but at any rate it went away on its own by whatever dealdline they set. And you've seen me, no trace of it now! :-)
Oh and Owen looks so much like you, it's crazy!!
ETA - Patti reminded me, it does get red if I'm sick or have been crying.
Cute!! I esp love the picture of the two of them talking to each other (and not looking at the camera).
Does Amelie have a stork bite on her forehead? My godson has one and I love it! It has faded almost completely now though (he'll be 4 in November).
In any event, she's adorable and I didn't even notice until you pointed it out.
