best and worst parts of your weekend!

Best: The overnight trip to Lake Oconee!
Worst: Realizing I have lived here over 5 years and had never been.
Best - the whole weekend!! saturday was my first shower and my whole family came in to town for it. Sunday we had everyone over to our house for a shower for my cousin who is two weeks behind me. It was such a good time.
Worst - I am exhausted and my house that I spent so much time cleaning is destroyed!
best - free better than ezra concert saturday night, i made my hubby homemade kluski (polish potato noodles) for the first time and he LOVED them!!!
worst - despite 2 great nights of sleep, i had a really crappy nights sleep last night
best: Pool, Whole Paycheck (oh, how do I love thee?), pedicure, and of course, my totally awesome and new Big Chicken Bird Feeder! ($25 at the Marietta Welcome Center!)
worst: My right front headlight is out AGAIN. We think its a fuse issue and not the bulb (swapped to the otherside of the car and the bulb IS still good). Check my owner's manual for replacing the fuse and the map in the manual is NOTHING like the setup in the panel - #5, & #6 are the headlights and there was nothing in spaces 5 & 6.
Call Jim Ellis VW this morning and go back and forth to parts and service, each claiming the other "might" have the correct adendum to the owner's manual.

Best: Winning the 2 person female division at the endurance (6 hour) mountain bike race with my friend. We had a great time, and DH came to hang out with us for a few hours. Best of all, the prize was a gift card to the hair salon I go to! The salon is a huge sponsor of mountain biking in Atlanta (the owners both ride).
Worst: Being SO tired on Sunday and having to go non stop to get everything done that I needed to. All I wanted to do was sleep, BUT I got most everything done that I needed to.

Best: Yummy dinner/drinks at Botekim and yummy lunch at Bibim Bowl, donating a bunch of stuff to goodwill
Worst: my skin looks awful and it's making me irritable. returning the bracelet DH got me since it was too big and not finding a replacement

best: being on vacay at the beach with my family.
worst: there is no worst - we're still at the beach!

I swear, this weekend completely flew by!
Best - running errands w/ DH on Sat., seeing Captain America and having lunch and dinner with friends on Sunday. I got caught up on the laundry, finished a months-long project, and got the next round of Goodwill donations counted & bagged.
Worst - I've had enough of these cramps!
best: getting moving on FINALLY finishing up the downstairs bathroom remodel...we now have cement poured for the floor!
worst: trying to actually pick out tile for the bathroom. when it's hypothetical, it's easy...now that it's legit, it's not so easy!

I forgot about visiting the Mortgage place
We wualify for the lowest APRs available right now, but we do not have a huge down as we have been paying off debt for 32 months now (who's counting, right?) so our amount we can purchase was lower than what MrB would be happy with. It wouldn't be BAD, it just puts us in to older hosues in ECobb or we'd have to move farther out (ZOMG I HATE COMMUTING) so our choice is to stay where we are another 6-9mo more to hoarde up more $$$ down.
Yay. Its not an awful situation, its more of "just a little while longer..." blah blah blah waiting game.

Good news, the economy will be in the sh!tter for a while so stay where you are.

I'm sure we'll be fine by this time next year. It just sucks having to keep playing the waiting game.
