washer & dryer rec?

Hi!

I'm looking to buy new washer and dryer.  Any brands / features that you love? hate?  Thanks!

ETA:  Budget is not an issue, but we also don't want to spend hundreds extra for features that we'll never use.   Our laundry room is on the 2nd floor, next to bedrooms, with wood floor, so quietness is important.  TIA!

Re: washer & dryer rec?

  • We have the whirlpool cabrio set. It's HE, top loading washer and front loading dryer. Love them!! Weve had them almost 4 years with no problems. Love how much fits in there ( I'm lazy and don't sort my laundry, so it's awesome to be able to throw a bunch of stuff in there at once! Also fits our quern size comforter, too). I also like the top loading because I can leave the lid up between loads so the inside of the washer dries out between loads. They are in our basement,so not 100% sure how quiet they are... But I never hear them.

We have a Whirlpool Cabrio set also. Our top loader is agitorless which is great because I can fit not only queen size comforters, king size also. Both washer & dryer fits large loads. We have had our set for about 2 years and just love them. Also no stinky smell like with frontloaders. We have a frontloader in our summer home and hate it.

  • Thanks a lot for the recs!
