Anyone looking into doing it? We did not that long ago and went down to a 15 year loan. Now, I think DH is looking at another decrease to 10 years.
Re: Re-financing
We are. I'm calling around today. We've been thinking about it for years and have put it off since we thought we'd be moving soon-ish. It's time to bite the bullet and do it!
I just don't know where to start! Anyone have any tips???
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
Ugh, I'm so sick of all the paperwork! We have re-financed a couple times for each of our properties (we have 3). Our broker called us last week with awesome rates again, but we are not going to go through the whole process again....b/c we already have low enough rates that the new rates aren't enough to matter (i.e., takes too long to recover the closing costs with appraisals, title insurance, fees, etc).
However, he quoted us 3.25 for a 15 year and 3.875 for a 30 year. So if anyone doesn't already have pretty low rates, I would suggest jumping on this if you qualify and can afford the closing. I think it's great for homeowners, but in general, a bad indicator of where our economy is/is going.
Brad is awesome! We met with him 2 days after I got out of the hospital with having J
I was talking with him on that previous Friday and told him "well, not sure if i'll answer when you call me back, I've been having contractions all day and my have a baby." He was awesome in getting all of the stuff ready for us to make it easy peasy when we came in.
