I forgot to take a picture of the jello aquarium... (edit to include PIP)
By the time I went to take a picture, since I forgot to take one right after I finished assembling, it had already been delved into and was more than half devoured.
The jello was a bit darker than I was hoping, so it was tough to see the fish inside, but you definitely could see them if you looked. And, the jelly beans were a big fat fail at the bottom. First batch / test run = melted / dissolved jelly beans when the jello was poured in while still warm. Second batch / final product = melted / dissolved jelly beans when the jello was poured in after it had cooled but not set. It ended up looking like someone should be cleaning this fishtank because it was getting a little fuzzy... But, everyone who ate it thought it was delicious, and my dessert was a hit when there were so many others to choose from.
Honestly, I can't figure out how I could make the jelly beans work as rocks. I knew I should have gone with a fruit bottom. Oh well... next time! 
EDIT: DH wouldn't let me toss the first test batch, because "you can't waste Jelly Belly jellybeans and Jell-O!" He promised he'll eat it all... So, I was able to take a picture of the resulting mess to share with you. Fortunately it didn't cloud the jello in the one I brought to the Fishing Tournament, but still... Ugly Jell-O! Glad it was a huge hit. :-) Never thought about fruit for the rocks- seemed to have candy on the brain at that time. I would love to try that if we ever do a pool theme for DD's party.
What kind of jelly beans did you use?
I've seen others in my online searches use well-drained fruit cocktail for the rocks, and I considered it but kept getting talked out of it (by friends and my husband)! I know certain fruits (fresh pineapple and kiwi, for example) have enzymes that prevent the jello from setting properly, so you have to make sure that you don't use those kinds. But, cherries, apples, grapes... those all should have worked!
