good monday morning!
i'm suuuuuuper tired this morning! i had a weekend full of events, and not very much sleep. friday and sat night i went to bed past 2 am for various reasons but both saturday and sunday i woke up pre-7am just because i couldn't sleep in any longer.
one of the highlights of my weekend was cuddling with my friends 6 yo son. we had a long day yesterday, and she laid him down to nap at my house...after he fell asleep, she told me to lay down next to him, and he thought it was mom next to him and he cuddled right up with me. we ended up napping together for 1.5 hours. it was so wonderful.

I ended up having to work a lot of this weekend and I think it's going to be a long work week too.
I did get to go and cheer on my friend at the Danskin Triathalon yesterday! It was so awesome being there and she finished 10 minutes faster than she wanted to. It was her first tri and as soon as we collected her from the finish line she was already talking about doing another one. Oh, and I met her new BF for the first time yesterday at the race. He seems pretty cool.

This weekend was super busy but it was a good weekend. I started the HCG diet last week and so far so good. I know you guys all advised against it but I have to let you know I'm on it, just incase I drop dead or something... JUST joking.
Jenn- that is adorable! 6year old or 6 mo old? Either way, cute!
Also, I took the LONGEST nap yesterday so I tossed and turned in bed from like 11-1am... sh!t balls.. somehow i'm not tired though.. go figure!
HOpe today is fabulous! I'm in a great mood this morning!

I'm not really sure where this weekend went. We got a call late Saturday night that friends and 2 extra tickets for a Sunday Jazz Brunch Cruise, so we went to that yesterday. I honestly don't remember the last time I was up before 7 on a Sunday.
Guess tonight we're going to the Mariners game, DH scored some free tickets. Should be fun, but ugh, I wish I had worn something different to work, because I don't want to stay dressed up all night.
Good morning everyone! This weekend I got about 4 inches cut off my hair, which was in desperate need of a trim. I also did this deep conditioning treatment thing, which makes my hair smell SUPER good, but I'm not supposed to wash it until Wednesday.... so it will be a ponytail kind of week for me until then
TK informed me that it has been 100 days since DH and I got married. The Planner Extraordinaire in me feels like we should do something tonight to celebrate, but the realist in me does not agree...

Morning...boo for Monday. I don't work Thursday this week, so it's going to be a short one.
DH and I are going to see Les Miserables on Thursday. So excited!!!
Weekend was nice. Went to Olympus Spa on Saturday and then visited with my parents. I saw the two siamese kittens they just adopted and they are freakin adorable! I also bought the Rent soundtrack and have been listening to it pretty much nonstop. I blame DH, he picked up the movie for me at Borders for less than $10.

We stayed in Friday, then had a friend's birthday bbq during the day Saturday and game night with other friends later.
Sunday we went huckleberry picking and hiking, but found exactly three ripe huckleberries. The hike was a neat one, though -- short and easy -- up to an unused lookout on a cliff. This isn't my picture, and it was partially cloudy, so it wasn't our view, either, but it's a pretty picture and shows the location well:

It felt sooo great having the extra inches off, my hair was so horribly damaged after coloring it for almost 3 years. And to f/u with the Smelly thread.... I am showering and washing my body, just wearing a shower cap until Wednesday.
I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days, so I don't think I'll be super oily, but I will definitely need to wear my hair up until then.
I like the idea of having a drink tonight, we're going grocery shopping at TJ's tonight, so we can pick up a bottle then.

Our weekend was super busy, but we managed to get some relaxing done, thank goodness.
I think I'm officially in my nesting phase. I keep finding things to do or clean or organize, and it's getting annoying. LOL

Saturday was pretty much a lost day. I worked, worked out, and played video games with H.
Sunday was super busy. Drove up to Ferndale for my sisters house warming. H had his man shower. What happens at a man shower, you might ask? Well they BBQ ribs and the father to be drinks a gallon of Tequila. I was really impressed, all but one of the guys brought us a gift! It was a lot of fun.

it was a really good time-- we wrote it on the cake (see the thread sarack posted to me earlier today) and h put the cake on the counter after our friends were done singing. nobody really noticed it, and h said "read the cake!" ....then one of my bff's (who i couldn't tell about the baby because i call her "bigmouth lastname" for a reason!) screamed "YOU ARE?!" and then i started crying...and then i don't really remember. i'm pretty sure most people had expected it though, because there wasn't really any "shock", but everyone was happy.
then bff cried, because i hadn't told her sooner....so h and i felt really bad....but then again..we call her bigmouth for a reason! she's going through a lot right now (breakup, running into her baby's daddy), so i think this escalated it. other than this, the birthday party was seamless
