How did you get A to take a bottle from someone other than you? We're having a hard time getting R to take one from H and we need to get him to take it from him before I go back to work. I remember it was hard when you went back so I'm hoping you can give me some pointers. THANK YOU!
If anyone else has any tips feel free to chime in

Re: ***Cole***
ugh it was a nightmare!
We started late for sure on that one.
We had a ton of Breast Flow bottles which they say the nipple mimics a mother's but she hated them! Her first day of daycare they had to call me because she just.wouldn't.eat.
So I went and bought a few different brands and we just tried and tried that night.
Dr. Brown's was the winner and after talking with many mom's that seems to be the concensus.
They are more expensive but totally worth it. I would suggest just buying one I think 1 is like 5 bucks and 3 are 10. If he does well then you can buy the 3 pack and they have nipples as he will grow.
That night she took a little from the bottle and then I would nurse and go back and forth. The next few days were still rocky but they just were patient with her. Normally he feeds about 10 minutes (she's quick) but with a bottle she takes her time and stops and looks around so it takes about 20-30. She did cry and not enjoy it for about 2 weeks but at least she would eat and then now she holds the bottle and everything (because I exclusively nurse when I have her).
Good Luck...it's frustrating and so sad to see them upset!
