OK now we have OFFICIAL SS approval!
Silly me.
I assumed that when we received a counter from BOA a week or so again, that meant we were good to go.
Today we received official approval from BOA and have to close within 30 days per our short sale addendum of the contract. Our contract close date was September 30th. I was freaking out, but dh said it's only 15 days difference or so.
This is true. It just seems so close..and real now!

That's our time line in case others in the midst of a SS are interested. I really don't think it's been *that* bad. I have nothing 'normal' to compare it too though, as we've never bought real estate before.
So excited. And nervous. And scared!

thank you for sharing the time line! we submitted our offer in mid-July...was accepted by the seller almost immediately, and we are now waiting for the bank. We just got word today that the bank has scheduled the BPO...so now I know (hopefully) what to expect.
