rayskit10 and Clare re: Australia

Hey, if you're willing to add another 7 hour flight, come visit me!!

j/k.  I know Singapore is relatively close to Australia, but it's still a long haul to get to the southern and eastern Australia.  (Clare, I'm assuming you're going to one of the big cities as well.)

  • I'm completely butting in to say, that if their trips are planned for next summer, then they can visit me while there too.  According to DH's company's budget we'll be moving to Singapore sometime during Q1.

    Wow! Very exciting! Congrats!

Nanner- I would looooove to! But, yeah, once we hit Melbourne, we're not doing anything more than the 40 minute commuter flight to Tassie, if we even do that. My kids are great flyers but this will put them to the test. I am dying to get to Asia, though, and even better to get to a city where you know someone. So, never say never!

Oh, I'll be here alright. At least through 2012, perhaps through spring of 2013.  Then again, it could go even longer if the project keeps getting behind schedule.  (We were initially supposed to be here for 1 1/2 years, and we've already been here 2--we're now looking at at least 3 1/2).
