S/O Immortal Life...Book Related

I just finished reading The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.  I am puffy from crying, but I really liked it and it wasn't as sad as I expected.

It is told from the perspective of a dog as he looks back over his life (so you know in the first couple of pages that the dog is going to die).  It was not nearly as sad as I thought it would be, except now I keep looking at my dogs and bursting into tears and DH laughed when I looked at Max and told him I forbid him to get older.

Anyway, it was a good quick read, so I would recommend it even though I cried Smile

  • A friend's mom let me borrow this book months ago, but I can't bring myself to read it. I just can't deal with the death part at ALL. =/

I've been wanting to read this book for awhile now, but I know I'll be a crying mess from it.

  • This was by far one of my favorite books. I loved it, even with the death part. It's not as bad as Marley & Me, but still a tearjerker.
