Toddler birthday party sites
DH doesn't want to have it at the house, so I am trying to brainstorm every possibility.
* Children's Museum
* Zoo
* Pump It Up
* Houston Gymnastics
* Discover Gymnastics
* Little Gym
* Gymboree
* Chuck E Cheese
* Minute Maid Park
* Kids Jam
* Houston Arboretum
Where else that is ITL or close-in? Bonus if you have been to or had a party there.
Thanks!

So Tasty, So Yummy
Re: Toddler birthday party sites
Ive been thinking about this too. Last year we had ours at Wonderwild and didnt like it much. I felt totally rushed and its pretty pricey.
Lucia really loves trains so I looked into the Herman park train. They have two different packages to choose from (if I remember correctly) and the kids get to ride the train. I was thinking maybe I could have some crafts/activities for the kiddos since the train ride isn't that long. Does that sound boring? Hopefully someone on here has been to one there and can give some input
....
Been to parties at little gym and pump it up...they were OK.
-Sigh-...I wish the weather in November wasn't so unpredictable.

Noah's Ark, but not for a November baby.
I went to one at Starz Gymnastics, but that is near Memorial City. It was ok.
I really liked the one we went to at the Little Gym.
AprilPrincess had one for Addie at a cool place in Bellaire, if she doesn't chime in, you should ask her. DH took Avery and said it was fun.
bellaire nature discovery center
a neighborhood park (i like colonial park in west u)
we are probably going to do maddy's at the kids party zone (not itl though, but i liked it bc it had activities for a variety of ages from baby to teen, and we have cousins of all ages) www.thekidspartyzone.com
i've been to little kid parties at the houston arboretum, they're fun.

We attended the party Aprilprincess had at the Nature Discovery Center, that was fun. It was more tame than most of the others you have listed. Meaning the kids had the animals to look at and things to explore.
We attended one at Pump It Up, which was also fun. At the time Gideon was just too young (and shy) to really enjoy himself. But every.other.kid had a blast from what I saw. About an hour of play time then on to the party room for pizza and cake.
We had G's 2nd birthday at The Little Gym (in Friendswood). The kids had about 15 minutes of free play where they got to on a few of the apparatus. Then they had a few games with scarves, bubbles, an inflatable that the kids just loved. I think that was an hour of play then an hour in the party room. They were worn out for sure.
We had G's 4th birthday at The Children's Museum. First if you are interested in this venue....book now. I inquired in January for a March party and they were all full. I ended up getting the last weekend of March in January. You are able to bring in your own food, drinks, cake, table decorations....but nothing on the walls. Everyone meets in the party room then you have a party host take the kids off to play at a few spots around the museum for about an hour. Then back to the party room. It was kind of tricky getting the kids back to the host to go on to the next "event", that took a few minutes. The good thing about the CM is that once the party is over your guests are able to stay as long as they want.
All these venues had a 2 hour time frame which didn't seem like a lot of time for play and food but it was really just right. The kids are so busy doing stuff and being active that by the time it was time for the food, they were all had an appreciate and ready for a rest.

Oil Ranch could be neat in November, also thinking places like Dewberry Farms, etc?
Downtown Aquarium
Young Chef's Academy (Westchase, Katy and Sugar Land locations)
Kaitlyn attended a party at Claire's and had a blast... They had about an hour of "instruction"/play and then pizza & cake in the party room, as well as played pin the tale on the donkey and a couple of other kind of low key games (that the mom set up, not the school).
