IMO Maddy is clearly the best dancer, most photogenic, and has the best personality.
Chloe is a good dancer but just not as much of a star.
Chloe's mom needs an eyebrow and hair consult. She is awful.
I just started watching this show and am hooked. It is the biggest drain on brain power out there but I can't turn away.
I will say, I think Maddie is awesome but her mother is enough to drive the sanest of men crazy. She is the true definition of stage Mom. Not that they don't all have that gene but Maddie's mother is living vicariously through those two kids. She is also really socially awkward!! She has this nervous laugh that drives me batty.
I think the dance teacher is certifiably crazy! I can't understand why any parent would allow their children or themselves to be treated this way but hey... it's what makes the show interesting!!
I didn't think the try out was fixed - Maddie really is amazing, and she seems humble (man, I hope she stays that way!)
I couldn't get over Vivi's crazy mom! The woman is certifiable! Her "solo" that she just went for made her look completely ridiculous!
I don't think it was fixed either. Maddie is really, really good.
However, I was wondering why he didn't talk to a couple more girls? Were they only looking for one?
I think the problem with Chloe leaving the studio is that she will lose her state title too.
After watching every episode I agree that Maddie has got what it takes, she performed the best in the auditions IMO. She is a beautiful dancer and she is committed. I do however think it kind of hurt the other girls when Cesar took Maddie aside right in front of them and didn't talk to anyone else. I know that's how it with that kind of thing, but it would have made me feel bad. Really surprised Christi didn't freak out in front of everyone.
But I absolutely could not believe Vivi's mom, she made a total fool of herself and the other moms changing the Mom's showcase into a solo for herself. I have never seen someone so delusional, if she keeps pulling shenanigans like that I will have think she was just someone added to create drama. Even though we really don't need anymore with Melissa and Christi.
Sadly I think Melissa is a snot, and i also think that even if she doesn't do it blatantly she sabotages the other dancers. ex. there is no reason that the girls should just barely be getting their music the night before a competition.
Chloe's mom is just a drunk I think and a drama queen. If Christi spent as much time worried about her daughter instead of Maddie and her mom Chloe would be a fabulous dancer. Her daughter holds a national title, she should be pleased with her daughter's accomplishments not comparing her to the other dancers.
Also I saw no reason Maddie shouldn't have had two solos if she takes two different classes. Maddie and Chloe are friends either way, the competition is more in Christi's mind. Sorry got a little off topic.
