So I'd been thinking, as W wants to be a knight for halloween (assuming he can do this at school), we'd dress M as a dragon. Cute, relatively easy. But now I'm thinking I really want to take advantage of her natural mohawk and dress her as a punk. My question, what would look 'punk' to you, that I could do as a costume? (I'm worried just gelling her hair up wouldn't be enough, and I'm at a loss as to figure outa costume...)

Re: halloween costume advice
What kind of punk? Like 1980's British punk? There are a lot of accessories to choose from, but some of them don't seem very baby friendly - or I don't know where you'd find a baby safe version/baby size.
This is pretty informative and could give you some outfit ideas.
Oh, and I don't know if you've found W's knight costume yet, but Milo has this and it's really nice quality - a bit big, but it looks great.
Well, that links not very good. If you click under 'pirates and knights', it's the first costume in the second row - the blue tabard.
Striped tights, jean skirt and a black t-shirt with band patches on it? Not sure that safety pins are very baby friendly and not sure what makeup is okay...
Honestly, I love the dragon idea, I think it's adorable when siblings 'match' in costumes!

I think this may work out more expensive than a more traditional costume. Safety pins are a good idea, and should be safe, hence the name, but I'm not sure. And in my mind, I really envision a baby leather jacket - so not going to happen!
I've got my eye on a knight's costume, from teh English Heritage website. I've just not found any dragon costumes that really catch my eye here. I like the idea of just making a tail for her, and having her in a green or red PJ set, but even that seems relatively expensive...
