Stolen from PC&E: What Are You Snobby About?
Food? Wine? Clothes? Cars? Houses? Etc?
Re: Stolen from PC&E: What Are You Snobby About?
Dog food
The way people treat their dogs
Clothes (can't/won't shop at Ross/TJMaxx/etc. - only merchandised stores)
Weddings
Grammar
Sheets
Things I'm not snobby about:
Vacations (Carnival cruise pro here - holla!)
Wine
I'm snobby about dog food. So many people think they're feeding a "good" brand but as a general rule of thumb: if you buy it at Publix, it's probably not very good.
I'm snobby about purses too.
I'm also snobby about paper, invitations, flyers, brochures, etc.
Last week a lady at work was showing us this new internal flyer about the company & went on & on about how great it looked... Uh, it looked like ***. Half the images were blurry & the design was poorly executed
Athletic/tennis shoes. I think that comes from being too poor to have the popular shoes growing up.
Certain brands of food (no store brand peanut butter or ketchup in my house).
I'm sure there are more...
I'm sure there are more, but the one that comes into mind immediately is a US-geographical-region snobbery. lol
And I judge the crap out of ppl who make stupid financial decisions. Does that count?
Definitely counts. Speaking of geographical/region snobbery, I'm snobby about accents.
As a teacher I am snobby about how people parent their children, mostly having to do with involvement in the child's academic life. If I call to try and talk to you about your child failing or misbehaving, it would be nice to get a call or email back. It would also be nice if you followed through with what we discussed.
I am also snobby when it comes to bad driving. Simple rules, such as what to do if you pproach a 4 way stop at the same time as a person next to you....if you are on the RIGHt you have the RIGHT of way, etc. OR if you drive BELOW the speed limit.
Music, books, dog food, dog training, food.
I also have a thing where if something is super trendy, I refuse to participate, like HP or Starbucks.
HP is super trendy for a reason... BECAUSE ITS AWESOME!
No, seriously, they are absolutely worth the read. Right, Ashlee?
