Did anyone else cry when Alex sang "His Eye is on the Sparrow"? I've only watched this show a few times and just had it on as background noise while I messed around on the computer last night, but his voice totally caught my attention and I definitely cried while listening. He has such an amazing voice!

I have really loved some of the "last chance" performances. Mackinleigh Abraham's "Last Name" was incredible. I wish I could buy it on Itunes.
I've got our DVR set to record all episodes now, so I'm hoping for a marathon this week so I can watch them all. I really don't know why I haven't been watching this show.

I can't stand Alex but have to admit that he sounded amazing singing that song. I kept thinking "sh!t, there's no way he's getting sent home now."
I haven't seen this episode yet. But I agree - he's not terribly likable on the show, and I personally wouldn't pick him as a new character compared to who else is left, but dang can he sing.
Exactly this!! I don't like his personality much. But in moments like that, you can see how he could be very moving on the show- as long as his character is written differently from how he acts on Glee Project. LOL

Agree, I think Alex has a great voice, but his diva attitude could be divisive on an ensemble show. I also don't see him growing into a lead role on Glee. Damian and Lyndsay have a better chance at eventually being a lead character when Lea and Corey finally leave.

Nobody did. They made all 4 sing for their life, then all 4 made the callback list.
huh! honestly I liked most of the top 6 or however many there have been lately. I would watch a show with them on it
they should give more than just 1 a spot...if they can really act that is.
I think Lindsay should win. She seems to have it all. Plus I think if they brought her in as a freshman she could potentially replace Rachel as the main character when Rachel graduates.

Alex and Damian don't have it, in my opinion. I really do not like Lindsey but at least she has the overall talent. I'd rather have Sam win if I had to choose from the top 4.
HOWEVER, I was seriously upset that Hannah went home. I loved her.
I liked her a lot, but she was not at the level of the final 4.
If Sam can do more than squinty eye I will be fine with him. I was a little concerned when I saw how crazy he got in front of Ryan Murphy (you want me to be a Christian? okay!! you want me to be this? okay!!), but it just showed how much he really wants it IMO.
If Lindsey can find a way to be sympathetic I would be fine with her, but honestly I think they will pick a guy because it's the fanbase they are trying to reach IMO.
Oh, I agree. I'm a singer and her level of talent was worse than Damien, who in my opinion doesn't have the greatest voice.
She did have that attitude and the spunk and effervescent personality that would have been a wonderful addition to the cast, despite the obvious flaws in vocals and/or choreography.
