need an idea(food idea)

I have a family BBQ to go to and I was told I dont need to bring anything. I can't just bring nothing so I was told to bring something lite. Any ideas other than salad?

  • For a less healthy option, I always make boneless buffalo dip to bring places and it is such a hit and quick & easy.

    Here is the recipe:  http://www.franksredhot.com/recipes/FRANK%27S%C2%AE-REDHOT%C2%AE-BUFFALO-CHICKEN-DIP-RE1242

I use ranch dressing because no one minds it (but a lot of people don't like blue cheese) and I don't used canned chicken, I boil a package of chicken breasts and shred it in the food processor.

Now every time someone invites me over, they say "Are you bringing the chicken dip?" LOL I also use the same recipe and substitute Frank's Red Hot with Sweet Baby Rays to make BBQ chicken dip.

This!  Or even just a plate of watermelon wedges.  Everyone loves watermelon.

  • I made the veggie dip on the Knorr's vegetable dip packet for a family party over the weekend.  I served it with pita chips and some veggies (grape tomatoes, cukes, carrot sticks, peppers).  It was really good, and made a lot so I served it for company the next day.  It's very easy to make.

This is my go to recipe as well. I was asked to bring it to a cookout this weekend. Now I want to try it with BBQ sauce.
