Surely I understand basic math?
Alright, our home owner's insurance decreased $2,000 per year which is approx. $167 per month.
Wouldn't that also mean that my mortgage would decrease $167 per month? Because I got a note from BOA yesterday that confirmed the change in insurance but my mortgage only decreased $30 per month.
I am muy confused.
Re: Surely I understand basic math?
Correct, the property tax increase was already reflected.
I hate this kind of crap. I always feel screwed. Further, I am now being charged $60 a month just to escrow (already reflected as well) - apparently this is some sort of federally mandated law. So, once again, other people's bad financial choices are costing me money. It is bullsh!t.
