I actually don't think we made any kind of announcement on FB. In fact, some of my friends/acquaintances (that I don't see much IRL) didn't even know I was pregnant until I posted a pic of my belly last week.

We didn't. I'm friends with too many people on facebook that I couldn't care less about, that I had no intention of sharing my news with them. I figured if I didn't care enough to tell someone in person/on the phone, then I'm not wasting my energy with them on facebook. Negative attitude? You betcha!

I posted a picture of Glen and I and it said something like 'first photo as a family of three'. I was a late announcer though. I think I was 18 or 19 weeks along.

We posted the pregnancy test and our first ultrasound pictures and said "Introducing baby S"

We announced around 14 weeks, after the NT scan. I sent a message to family first and asked them not to say anything on my wall for awhile. Then about a week or so later I posted a picture of the ultrasound and just said 'Coming July 2011....' under it.

Most of my friends and family are on FB, so I had no problems sharing our news with them -- happily, I might add. We posted our first u/s picture with the EDD and the rest is history!

This is super dorky but H and I thought it'd be funny so we did it: I Photoshopped the movie poster from Knocked Up. I put my head on Katherine Heigl's body and H's head on Seth Rogen's body, and erased their names under the title and put in H's and mine. As the caption I wrote something like "Baby C, coming to theaters near you around June 1st, 2011."
