Good morning all!
Pretty slow night for us last night. Derek was at my step-sisters place installing floor all night, and didn't get in until 11-11:30pm. He didn't have any help (my step-BIL was supposed to help, but got stuck on "Lucas duty" with my step-nephew) so he didn't get as much accomplished as he'd hoped. So, I'm off to help him again tonight after work. He could have called in Tim, but then, well, he'd have to share the money for the job with him, and if I help, it all stays with us. Yup, I'm greedy like that.
Chloe, that silly little kitty, has decided that the middle of the dining room table is her new favourite place to sit. Not cool. I was finally able to get close enough to her while she was still on the table to pull her off by her scruff, so hopefully she realizes I mean business when I say "no" now!
How is everyone today?
Re: Good Morning!
Morning ladies.
Raynes I am greedy like that too sometimes. Nothing wrong with that!
I finally got see Ryan for a little while last night. I hate that he works nights, and I feel like I never see him now. We actually had a small argument at 4:00 a.m. because he was still up. I love him dearly, but seriously, when he knows that he has the next few days off, he needs to get up before 5 p.m. or else he isn't going to sleep at all. So basically he has been up since 11 pm lastnight and has to take care of the boys today. Honestly, it scares me, he can't fall asleep because the boys are into everything. UGH he doesn't get it. So now I will be dealing with an extremely grumpy DH tonight.
That's about it for me. Have a great day ladies.
Good morning. We had a relatively quiet evening as well last night. BIL got home from Afghanistan so he was over when I got home from work. We grilled out some burgers for dinner. We're trying to use up all of the food in our house so that it doesn't go bad while we're oot this weekend. Otherwise, I got in a good workout and that was about the extent of my evening.
Tonight I'm planning on doing some laundry so that we'll have clean clothes to pack up to take with us.
Morning.
Today I'm cleaning Mac's kennel and storing all his stuff away. Then I have to bring the truck to the mechanic again and go pick russ up from the airport after that. I had to tell him about Mac last night and he blames me for it, so I get to deal with that. Then Russ is gonna sleep and tonight he has ball so if he's not still mad at me we'll go watch his game.
Morning! I was tied up with our big annual meeting all day yesterday so I wasn't on much.
There's not a whole lot to report here - just the same old stuff.

Hi ladies. I went into work late this morning, I was so sad last night about being alone here, and didn't sleep well, so I needed to sleep a bit later. I'm feeling a little better tonight and just going through our vacation photos, editing and blogging.
Oh and drinking wine.

Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Good Morning,
Dh had a lousy day at work so we went to the park after work. I went to study on a blanket and he went to fly a remote control plane. It is so peaceful to just hang out in the park. After that the weather was so nice I put on my running gear and went for a great run. It felt awesome to not run in 100 degree heat. I am so much faster.
Tonight is probably more of the same. We are trying to cut back on eating out and spending frivolous amounts of money.
Morning ladies. Yesterday evening was pretty craptastik. Someone through a brick through my car window yesterday during the day, and B discovered it while walking Casey. Luckily they didn't steal anything, but seriously, what a pain. Then I was on Casey duty all last night, which is fine, but the poor guy can't get up by himself, and frankly, it's pretty depressing. We're taking him back to the vet tomorrow to try a new medicine I hope. And on top of all that, I ended up working until about 1 AM, so I'm exhausted today.
I'm hoping the work day is a fairly easy one. I brought gym clothes with to work, so hopefully I can make it there before I fall asleep.
Kat-I completly understand where your coming from with DH. My DH does the same thing when he works nights. If he works more than 3 or 4 nights in a row it always ends up in a fight.
Last nigh was pretty nice. We went up to my grandmothers and Jordan helped my uncle dig sweet potatoes. That was right up jordan's alley. Afterwards my uncle took him riding on the 4wheeler in the pasture and around the pond. He showed Jordan where all the deer feeders where so Jordan enjoyed that.
Tonight we have back to school check in night. I guess we are just go and see how the kids did the first week of school. I am anxious to hear what the teacher has to say. I really like Jordan's teacher this year and he seems so happy.
Leo - being apart sucks. Wine'll definitely help!
I'm stuck in total jet lag mode right now. I was awake last night from midnight-5 am just tossing and turning until I got up and read for a bit. I mean, I'm lucky that I'm off work right now so I can get some sleep, but on the other hand, if I forced myself to get out of bed and suck up the lack of sleep, I'd probably adjust quicker. I think I'm going to take something that'll make me drowsy tonight.

Definitely, but I think I took it a bit too far and now I'm drunk, watching videos of proposals on youtube and crying.

Have you seen the movie trailer one? If no, find it. I mean, um, I'm not going to feed your problems!!!1!!!1!1!!!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Um, done. Haha, that was one of the first. Then there were some surprise proposals, some Eiffel Tower proposals, some funny ones... I've really covered the whole spectrum.

I'm finally regaining some sanity today thanks to a wonderful visit from a friend I haven't seen in a while. She's great with kids and managed to get Jackson sleeping soundly in his swing. I'd probably still be pulling my hair out and snuggling him on the couch to get a few minutes of shuteye. I don't know how all the stay at home moms do it day after day. I'd be curled up in a ball in my closet until someone found me.
In other news, I have some cookies calling my name with a cool glass of milk for the day. I'm hoping the rest of my day goes as well so I can relax tonight with the hubs rather than trying to catch up from my day while he was at work.
Afternoon! I worked again today. Today's meeting was relatively painful. There are a lot of people on this committee who like to really talk everything to death and get super nit-picky about wording and by the end I wanted to stab myself. But, the work is done for now. We have to revisit it in a few weeks, but I'm glad we have most of it done.
Ed's parents are coming tonight for the next few days (ugh). Other than that, no plans for the evening.
