my membership to the Mid Hudson Children's Museum.
First, it is the cheapest yearly membership including traveling to others, savings #1. #2-it provides entertainment for Jack and I am sure once Charlotte is here, we will be going more so I can watch him indoors while tending to her.
We went to the Manhattan one on Sunday, it was very cute and Jack had a lot of fun, my sister, Jack and I all got in for free ($33) normally.
Long Island's would have been $44 all free
Boston- would have been $24
Stepping Stones- $42
and the few times I have been to POK with either my mom, sister and Jack. It has paid for itself and its only been 5 months.
I recommend if you are going to join a museum join through POK because its cheaper then all the others.
I am looking forward to Philly's Please Touch in September when he go back down to the doctor with Jack.
Re: Best Investment
You get free admission to the other children's museums if you are a member of the POK one?
We took Emma to a birthday party there and she had a great time. I may get a membership. How does it work though with bringing other family members? If I am at work could my mom or MIL use the membership to bring my daugter or would I have to be there as well?
thanks for the heads up - i will pass this on to my sis.
I asked POK about who can bring them, they said who ever with pass, they don't ask for ID just to see the cards. So I have had other people take Jack there while watching him.
At the other museums also no one asked for ID just to see my passes, so the grandma's should be able to to just take her in.
FRIDAY's in POK is grandparents day and free for them to bring the kids.
