I do remember the band guys talking last week about pawn shops being a great place to find some!
yeah! what a great instrument!
Wish i could help ya out and part with mine...but i still play it! lol I'd definitely try to find a used one tho... the new ones sure have gone up in price.
Did the school not give you any recommendations? Some music stores let you rent them for starters in case the kids dont like it or want to switch instruments later.
rentals are like $30 a month, and there are some on craigslist for $120-200. i'm not in charge of the trumpet hunt, i just volunteered to check all my sources : )
DH played some sort of instrument in high school, which makes him far more qualified than me (the choir girl).
