    2. When are you going to come visit me? (I'm thinking we could all go to Kentucky and see Liz..just saying!)

  • 1. Can you please throat punch someone? It makes me laugh picturing that!  LOL I get a visual everytime I mention throat punching someone :)  I've never actually done it, but there are days I've come close. :)  Fists of fury!

    2. When are you going to come visit me? (I'm thinking we could all go to Kentucky and see Liz..just saying!)   I would LOVE to, but it'll be a couple years probably. :(  We have some serious debt to pay off and 2 possible trips in the works (if we can even afford those after paying off some of the debt) so I don't know if that's do-able.  You two could road trip to ATL in October if I end up going! ;-)

    1.  How did you get your pets?

    2.  What were you like in high school?

    1.  How did you get your pets?  Sparta was a stray at Birdie's dance boss's mom's house.  He wanted to bring her home, but I said no (we had 1 bedroom in a 3 bedroom apt. and there was already a dominate cat)...then when I saw how bummed he was I went to the animal shelter and put a deposit on her lol.  MacGyver I found on petfinder.com, Dougie we bought from a breeder in Maine and Nora I found on petfinder.com.

    2.  What were you like in high school?  I hated cliques and refused to be a part of them, so I had a couple of friends here and there, but I definitely wasn't Miss Popular.  I didn't play sports b/c I danced every day after school so that wasn't a good choice for my social life, but I loved dancing and wouldn't have traded that for anything.

    3. Where do you realistically see yourself in five years from now?  5 years from now I'll have 2 children with DH, living in a bigger house, making more money with both of my jobs LOL (quite possibly not at my main job). :)

  • - Who is your role model?

    - When in your relationship did you realize Birdie was "the one?" (Gah, that sounds so cheesy, I couldn't think of a better way to say it)

  • - Who is your role model?  Tough question for me, b/c there's no one person I'm totally in awe of that I can think of at the moment.  There are a few people whose traits I look up to though.  One of the people (and yes, it's cheesy) is my mom.  She's very willing to help others, even if it means not taking as much time for herself.  When my grandparents became older, she didn't think twice about moving them in with us and she was the primary care giver for them and their health issues while working 40+ hrs a week as a school secretary.  It takes a STRONG lady to handle my grandparents lol especially when it was 24/7 (everything she did had to be centered around them for a few years, and intercom had to be installed at home so she could get up in the middle of the night w/ them, etc.).  Professionally, there is one person in particular who I really admire and hope to be more like in some aspects (doesn't back down, very intelligent, she's the "go to"), but she also comes in on the weekends all the times, stays until 7pm sometimes, and takes on wayyyyy more than she should.  I really respect her, but I want to have a good home/work balance.  I also really look up to one of my coworkers and friends, Hope.  She has a very positive, upbeat personality (always smiling and laughing) and seems to know all the right things to say when resolving conflict and in getting her point across.

    - When in your relationship did you realize Birdie was "the one?" (Gah, that sounds so cheesy, I couldn't think of a better way to say it)   I don't know if there was one particular day, to be honest.  I think from before we even started dating (when we were just friends), I couldn't picture my life w/o him in it.  If we'd go more than a few days w/o talking, I'd miss him.  When I'd get sick, he'd come over and take care of me (he's such a nurturer), when I'd see him with kids, I'd think of what a great father he'd be.  I started seeing the qualities I was looking for in a husband, which woke me up to the fact that I wanted to be more than friends.  We pretty much knew (and discussed) when we started dating that it was going to be serious, with the future/marriage/kids in mind lol.
