i'm so confused on where to start with this pcs move. Everything says to start 12 weeks in advance. We're supposed to leave in October so depending on the day we need to leave (which we don't know yet) I could have as little as 6 weeks. I live near a Naval Base can I still talk to their office to help with my move or should a call the office at the nearest Air Force base.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Re: HELP please!!!!!!
What is the "everything" you are looking at? The Brochures they hand out that provide moving "to-do" lists? They are great guidelines but they can be unrealistic.
You should be able to talk to Fleet and Family Support Services (Navy) to give you advice on your move. Your H will be in contact with his TMO office. But don't worry so much, once you get your date things will more or less fall into place.
your husband will be in contact with TMO.. relax, and breathe.
If you have contracts with people... say a cable or satelite that you signed a contract with, tell them the date you need to shut it off, satelite will need about 4 days to send you a box to mail their channel box back to them.. Do not forget to tell them you have orders to move, they cant charge you for cancelling when the government is forcing you.
