rec your point & shoot
I have a DSLR but we really bought it to take pics of our future children and family. I have a couple trips coming up and I really want to get a point & shoot digital camera.
anyone have an awesome one?? or just one they like?
i have a canon rebel t1i but i'd like to leave that at home for nyc.

i don't have it, but i love the canon power shot (i think is what it's called). a lot of my friends have that one, and it's reaction time is fast.
i have a sony cybershot, and have had variations of it for the last 10 years (my point and shoots have *only* been cybershots). while it works well, i think it's time to branch out.

lol. mine were too! i gave mine away to my cousin when i got my big camera.. silly me.
I have a canon p&s. I love it. I've always had great service from Canon as well.
I tripped and fell when trying to take a picture and my camera bounced off the concrete. It wouldn't do a dam thing. Even though it was out of warranty they charged me $75 bucks and had it fixed and back in my hands in 2 weeks.
Now that I know how to use my DSLR, my Canon gets taken as a backup. I can't talk myself out of not taking my DSLR and lenses anywhere.
