Well this kid is going to be coming eventually and since it's the last, and I've never had them done, I'd like to get some newborn/professional pics of all the kids.

By the looks of some of our newer babies and siggies, there seem to be a whole new group of newborn photographers out there. Can anyone recommend theirs? If you don't want to post their name for whatever reason, you can email me at mrstrod at gmail

    I'm using my wedding photographer, Sarah Schulte. I also looked into Anne Lavigne Photography, but decided to go with Sarah.

    We didn't do newborn professional pics when my daughter was born, but a friend of mine used Dackel Photography.  My sister also used them for my nephew's 1st birthday pictures.  They did a really nice job with both.

    I have two for you, although I've used neither for newborn photography, just baby photography.  But I know they do it.

    The photographer who just took Emma's pictures:

    Here is who I was going to use until Emma came early.  So we waited until later.  She did the pics of Emma from last fall.

    Oooo thanks for asking this!  I was going to ask in a few weeks.

    Those that did newborn shoots, how soon after the birth did you do them and how far in advance did you schedule them?

    We did ours at 13 days. Nicole likes to do them within 2 weeks or so bc they're very flexible still and sleep a lot (supposedly, mine screamed for a good 1/2 of the shoot.)
