If A is eating consistently 3-4 ounces a sitting now (for about 4-5 days straight now) and sometimes 30-60 minutes later is rooting again/fussing...is that a sign I should make let's say, 5-6 ounces instead?Signed, I think I know the answer but want to ask others

Re: Feeding Q for Mamas
I don't know, but 6 oz seems like a lot for her age. Will was still only taking about 4 ounces at 4 months. It was a while before he moved up to the larger size bottles.
I know that every baby is different, so I am just sharing from my experience. Will did a lot of cluster feeding at the age, especially in the evenings.
Thanks, Stephanie. That's what I keep thinking- it's too much. but I've also heard 1/2 her weight and I'm guessing she's around 9-10 lbs now.
She is totally doing cluster feeding! Mostly in AM.
It does seem soon for bigger bottles. But I would give it a shot. When daycare first started noticing Nate getting hungrier sooner, I tried to feed him a 6 oz bottle a few times, and he could never finish it. I think he was around 14 weeks old when he started taking 6 oz.
ETA: Ok, he did finish the bottles earlier, but he would drink 4 oz, then want the other 2 oz an hour later.
