They have a For Sale sign up in their yard.

We like this couple, they are pregnant and expecting a girl in November. We've always gotten along well and who knows who could move in. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it...
Re: Boo neighbors
Maybe that won't be able to sell in this market!
Ok-sorry-that wasn't nice of me.
That sucks when you lose good neighbors. That happened to us in July, we went from having a single middle aged lawyer to a couple with 4 children. We much preferred the middle aged lawyer.
I wish we could cultivate some relationships with our neighbors. The good news is that 3 baby girls were born this summer in June, July and August, so hopefully things should be fun next Spring/Summer if everyone finally meets. Our development is not the most warm and friendly place, it's very nice, very brand new, but no one talks. Greg and I hate that, we want new friends. LOL
I had the same thought, Alyssa! And some of the houses in the area have been for sale since we started looking last Augst so who knows.
Marcy, we feel the same way about wanting to make friends in the neighborhood. The couple across the street has a 2 or 3yo daughter and a daughter 2 weeks younger than Carly. I was thinking about inviting them and the couple next door (with the for sale sign) over for a bbq or something... We've all chatted while outside before but nothing major. I fear rejection though.
This JUST happened to us. Nice younger family w/ a little 2 yr old girl. He had lost his job months back and they needed to downsize and save some money- they were moving in w/ one of their parents for the short term and then would buy.
Sad.
