1/2 Bath Cleaning Supplies

What does everyone do with extra toilet paper, toilet cleaner/brush in your 1/2 baths?  We only have a toilet and pedastal sink, so we have nowhere to hide anything.

I've never been a fan of the containers that hold those things, but now I'm thinking it's our only option.  What does everyone else do?  Is there even a need to have these things in there?

  • I have a small cabinet in that bath though, so there is a tube of clorox green wipes in there, along with an extra hand towel.  Our sink has a drawer too, so that is where the extra TP goes.  We do have the toilet brush sitting out in the corner by the toilet, but it's a nice one, so I don't mind it.

Can you keep your supplies in a nearby closet?  Is it close to the kitchen or another bath?  You could keep your supplies in one of those areas.  I would do that if I didn't have the space in the bathroom.

  • I found a really cute little rack that matches the decor in the half bath with pedestal sink. It fits on the side of the sink and i just put toilet paper, air freshner, and extra soap on it.
  • We're trying to figure this out too.  I think we're going to find a wall cabinet that will fit and use that.  We may end up doing a deep recessed medicine cabinet with a mirror on the front over the sink if we can find one that fitspaper and cleaning supplies.  I may have to buy smaller spray bottles to transfer cleaners into, but that's not a big deal.

  • We hung a cabinet in our one half bath.  The other has a small closet inside it.  That being said I still have a container to hold extra rolls of toilet paper next to the toilet.

  • My friend has storage issues in her front bath as well - she used a large floor sized vase (clear) and put rolls of TP in it kind of staggered (4-5 rolls fit in it).  It looks really cute and no one has to go rooting around for TP.
