I'm shocked. I know that things were really bad for them - the allegations coming out since Taylor filed for divorce paint him in a horrible light. But to commit suicide? His poor children.

Ditto Heidi - I didn't see this coming. There must have been other things going on.
Somebody posted on FB or Jezebel that maybe his weird detachment last year was that he was depressed, not so much that he was an a-hole. Also - they already taped this season, right? Was that taped before or after she left him?
I read somewhere that the couple tried counseling. I also read that Taylor wanted to continue with the show and he did not.
Question, do you think the show played a role in all this? Everyone makes their own choices but do you think this would have happen if they had never done the show?
Russell Armstrong has been quoted as saying that the show added to their marital troubles. In the wake of the divorce filing by Taylor, accusations of abuse have come out from both her and his other child(ren). So he was thrust under a microscope with all of his faults on display. Not that it's Taylor's or Bravo's fault that the man committed suicide, but I wouldn't be surprised if it all added to his issues.
