I'm confused - LES and allotment related
When H and I moved onto base last month the housing office told us that the allotment wouldn't be set up until September so we gave them a check for July and a check for August. No problem with the checks, but H's LES is showing up like the allotment is being taken out this paycheck. Does that sound right? I'm confused as to why the money would be taken out of the 1108 pay when we don't owe until 1109. Any insight?

The allotment probably went through sooner than they expected. I'd call up the housing office and speak with someone about giving you back your check for august if they haven't cashed it already.
If they have, I'd ask for a refund.

Sometimes it can take a full pay period for an allotment to get set up. The housing office probably wanted the check for the first month just in case- but it sounds like yours went through earlier than usual.
I'd call the housing office and ask about getting that money back.
