Fun Craft!

So I tried out this fun craft last night: DIY candlestick holders.

I know that a lot of you girls are craft lovers like me, so I thought I'd share!  It's super easy, and only cost $1 because I had most of the supplies at home.  I have a link to the tutorial in my blog (link in my siggy); it won't let me link it here (silly Chrome), but the blog I found the tutorial at is Addicted 2 Decorating.

Just thought I'd share in case anybody is in need to an easy craft!

Re: Fun Craft!

  • Totally cute! LOVE the paint color that you painted your downstairs! :-)

A friend of mine posted on FB that Target is having an in store only sale on some of their bookcases. Tall one for $25 and small for $13. They may not make for the ultimate built in look...but for that price it might work. :-)

Aw, thanks!  That downstairs was a PITA, but well worth it.  I'm actually in the "office" portion of the room right now rather than the laptop just so I can be in the cherry new color!

Thanks for the note about the bookcases; I may check those out.  If I added a little molding on the front in the "seams" between several bookcases in a row, that might spruce them up a bit.
