I am lost on what "big" thing to get DD for her birthday or christmas this year. She has plenty clothes, lots of toys and I bought ahead with Christmas clearence last year for little things.
What things in the 50-100 dollar range would be good? Do you think she would like a Nintendo DS? She loves computer games. I thought about a Leappad handheld thing, but they are $70, so should I go with a DS? Will it rot her brain?
Re: toys for four year old
I can only speak from our experiences. We are not very "techy" and we don't place a lot of video or computer games.
My kids have leapsters and like them. A friend of ours son (age 5) has a DS and he likes it a lot... Maren tried it once and I just think she wasn't ready for it. We only play ours on trips or if we have to wait (like today I will bring them so Maren can play hers while the boys get haircuts, etc).
