Did anyone read this book? I don't even know what it's about.
I was on the waitlist and just got it yesterday, but I also had 2 other books waiting for me, and I just don't see myself motivating that much to read 3 books before they're due (and they're all on the waitlist, so I can't renew them.)
Should I even attempt Pillars of the Earth?

Re: Pillars of the Earth?
I also loved it. It is terrific! I still sometimes think about the characters.
I read it a couple of months ago and really liked it. I like historical fiction though. And in many ways it fit in with a lot of other books I've read recently (e.g., Phillipa Gregory). If you like those type of books, I think you would like it.
Of course, it depends on what your other books are and what the wait is for them. I want to say it took me about a 3 week wait to get Pillars of the Earth in epub format from the the Fairfax County library.
Hmm. I love historial fiction.
I read the prologue last night and it seems like this book will take me just under forever to read. I think it might have to go back to the library to be read at a different time.
Thanks for the input!
