I love these posts. What three good things are going on in your life right now?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: Good Things Tuesday
1. We're going camping this weekend. I can't wait to be at 8,000 feet, where it's deserted and we're out of the heat.
2. My desk is coming along. I think I'm going to give up on the sanding and use the special primer I bought that doesn't need sanding.
3. I'm reading a good book, one of the Sookie Stackhouse books.
1. We had a reorg at work and it benefited me.
2. I have been drinking lots of tea lately.
3. We bought a vitamix and I have been making super green smoothies. It makes me happy to think of all the nutrients I am getting in just one easy breakfast!
1. I tried a new hairstyle today, and it's totally cute and deceptively easy. Took about 2 minutes.
2. I had a great time talking about serious issues with some Nesties on Facebook last night!
3. I tried to take the day off yesterday, and ended up having a big work thing. So I tried to take the afternoon off, and got sucked back in. I ended up getting off an hour early ... too late for me to take off and do something yesterday evening (traffic). Instead, I cleaned the house, did all the laundry, sorted through DH's clothes to take out the stuff that doesn't fit anymore and show him how much he has that DOES fit, AND managed to knit two more square on my afghan while watching Friday Night Lights.
So, good day!
I saw that all over the nest yesterday. I will have to try it.
Really? Where?
I just spent way too much time watching some of those hairstyle videos. I'll have to bookmark it when I get home.
My three good things:
1. After more than a year of pain, my back is finally starting to feel better. Still stiff at times, but noticeably better than it has been.
2. This means I've also been able to play volleyball more the way I used to and not be so frustrated by my body's recent limitations. I'm way too competitive to be happy with how I'd been playing.
3. We have some minor home improvement stuff that I've finally started the ball rolling on after lots of procrastination.
1. My birthday is in ONE WEEK. DH has been torturing me about what my present is and I finally get it at my birthday dinner.
2. I'm sick and have been home for two days, which is not a good thing. But it means that I made myself some chicken-less soup with matzah balls and it's super yummy. I usually only make it for holidays a couple of times a year. It's kind of a treat.
3. I get to go to lunch and a movie with a friend on Saturday. Looking forward to it.
I feel like this week is even harder than last week to come up with anything good.
1) My birthday is in 6 weeks so I've been thinking of things that I have been wanting that I can ask for.
2) Drew's sore is basically totally healed up now.
3) It isn't as hot in the house now that we don't have to have the bed on all day.

1. My parents are coming to visit in two weeks. While this is inherently stressful (cleaning and organizing before they get here), I'm really looking forward to seeing someone I know.
2. We finally got a guest bed, so we don't have to sleep on the floor when we have guests.
3. I did better than I thought in my race on Saturday and I'm really proud of that.
I'm sorry you're having a hard time, Hannah. But yay for this!

1. the baby is a girl!! she is healthy and measuring right on track where she should be.
2. I bought the most beautiful fruit today at work!!!!
ummmmmmmm
3. I have a stack of new books to get through !!!
1) My classes are much better this year and it removes a huge stress
2) My mom came up for a week and helped me in my classroom...this is a twofer because
a) she's well enough to come help
b) my classroom looks fantastic...put up roman shades rather than butcher paper to cover the windows, made my A/V equipment tons more accessible, put the screen up higher so it's more visible, even put roman shades over the periodic table so I can have it up high and still cover it for tests.
1. I've had yesterday and today off of work and having a four day weekend has me feel more relaxed now (but this could change tomorrow when I probably have 200 emails to look through, lol).
2. DH pulled off a surprise party for me on Sunday for my birthday (actual bday was yesterday); although only a few relatives were able to make it and one of my BFF's, it still meant a lot to me.
3. Painted our office/bedroom this morning and now DH can put the desk that he bought me for my birthday together on Thursday.

I actually have another thing that is good. A friend of mine entered a themed board game that I helped her create into a fair. And it took Best in Show... some of you might be able to guess the theme...
