BM dress drama update

I now have a size 10.

I'm confused because she said they went by my biggest measurement, which is a 36 in the hips and bust. I have lost 5 inches around my waist since April but they had me in a 16 in April and a 10 now, although my biggest measurements are unchanged.

I don't think they can get their stories straight.

Anyway, they did discount it a little bit. I am trying to sell the size 16 now. It took me a year to sell my wedding dress, so I am not holding my breath that this will go quickly.

Re: BM dress drama update

  • What????  A discount....blahh.  That sucks.  I guess it is better than nothing.  Does the bride know what you are going through?
  • What a mess.  I hope this one is better.  How long do you have until the wedding?
  • Wow, they really suck at pretty much everything. I really hope you can sell the 16 and recoup some $.

  • Yes, the bride knows, as does her mother. I was going to request her mom's help if they didn't offer me something in terms of a discount.

    Wedding is in February.

  • Ugh, it sucks that you have to pay for a second dress at all.  And I suspect a size 10 is still going to be way big on you.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

    I agree.

    I agree.

One of the other girls is a 36-28-36 and ordered a 12 and said it fit her very well and she needs just a small amount of alterations. I am a 36-26-36 and probably needed a 6 or an 8 but I was afraid the chest would be too tight. Ugh.

    This is such a pain.

Thank god my sister is just letting me buy something off the rack for her wedding.

  • What a nightmare!! I mean, I guess I'm glad they gave you a discount but you'd think they would be much more accommodating. I hope you end up selling the 16 quickly so you can just be done with this dress!
