Re: good wednesday morning!
Good Morning everyone!
I finally decided to get up not too long ago. My hubby had the on call phone for work and got called in this morning and I didn't really sleep while he was out. I was almost back to sleep when he came home so then I was awake again
Anyway I need to get some sewing done today!

My Blog
Morning. I haven't found anything good about it, so I'm leaving that off.
DH's alarm went off at 3 because he had an early morning flight. I really couldn't get back to sleep. It didn't help he got stuck at work late last night, so I ended up staying up and practically packing all of his stuff.
I also made what looked like a great dinner and then it was inedible due to me not noticing a bad/expired product I used and it couldn't be fixed. I was pissed, I ordered pizza and cheese bread as my consolation prize.

Good morning! So I thought I was closing at work instead of opening...nope I'm working all day, open to close. Dang it. I have tomorrow off though! Yay!
Have a good day ladies!
my currently-reading shelf:
I was having a lovely morning till I got pulled in to an emergency meeting. You really can't rationalize with stupid people... it makes you crazy.
I might be a smidgen hung over too. That doesn't help.
Today still has potential. I just ate cold pizza for breakfast.
Guess that means I'll have to figure out lunch when that time comes.
I'm holding you to this.
Good morning!
Yesterday I found out the coworker that is due the same day as I am had her baby on friday! So scary. Mom and baby are fine, but the baby will be in the NICU for at least a month. I am really happy I am not having any problems. Baby karebear is still cooking away, happily playing around with my insides.
This morning I am chained to my computer starting to write reviews since I won't be around the end of the year to write them. They should be pretty easy to write. I just hate writing them. Urgh.

Today's getting better already!

Yay!
Yesterday evening I brought a zucchini and onion tart over to my friend who had her baby 3 weeks ago. Got to meet the little tyke. Haha, poor mama found out yesterday his head is almost 2x the size of most babies at his age. The doctor didn't believe her measurements the first time and had to take it again! I offered to organize her kitchen for her as they had just moved in to their new home and then she had the baby and with the exhaustion a newborn brings along with recovering from a c-section (that darn huge head!), she hasn't been able to put it together.
We should be closing 2 weeks from today, I'm SO SO SO excited!!
I really want a cute German-style dress (dirndl) for our Oktoberfest party we'll be holding in October (yes yes, I know it traditionally ushers in October, but I bend the rules). However, the ones I like are about $180 plus shipping and that doesn't include the shirt. I checked with a costume designer I know, but she would charge $150 to make me the dress part (and that's without the embroidery or shirt)! So...dang it. I won't have time to sew one with the move, nor do I have the skills to modify the only pattern I found. I think DH would have a fit if I spent that much on one, even if I plan to wear it for many years to come.
Kare -- How scary for her! Sounds like she's fine and the baby has an ok prognosis. Man, that would be especially alarming given your shared EDD.
Today does have potential -- forecast is cloudless skies and 76, which in my book is perfect!
D has an appt. w/a specialist at UW Med Ctr, so i'm picking him up for that (he carpools), then we're going to Pike Place and either eating dinner in that vicinity or getting some things to bring home and cook together. Should be lovely.
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
They wouldn't shower or do laundry. (Probably go out and buy overpriced replacements.)
I am having, both a really great week and a really shitty one.
People at my job I deal with are being really annoying and asking stupid questions constantly. I hate stupid questions. No matter what your kindergarten teacher told you, yes, there are stupid question. Especially if they are asked right after you've already TOLD them the answer and they're too lazy to bother reading. Grrr.
But social life wise? Freaking fantastic. I spent a fantastic weekend with some friends drinking it up on Friday and then going out for hangover food (though none of us were hungover) at the Original Pancake House. I also created a really great new drink: mostly white chocolate Godiva liquor, with a shot of coconut rum, and a splash of peppermint schnappes. It's like crack on ice.
Yesterday, we tried out Showa, this 80s Japanese Izakaya bar and the food was yummy. I got a chunk of my nose tore off by a 13 month old baby. It's a good thing he's so cute. We met up with a friend who was in town for two days from South Africa.
Tonight, I am meeting up with some girls from my church for Happy Hour. I am finally picking up these GINORMOUS teddy bears they got for us at our wedding. I have no idea where they are going to go. Maybe the kids' rooms along with the rest of my stuffed animal collection.

Good morning (barely). I work a split shift today: 10-noon and 2-5. Hubby is taking me to lunch in between so that will be nice.
I have ballet class tonight, which I haven't been looking forward to very much lately. I do have a new leotard to wear, so I guess that is something to look forward to.
Tomorrow I am meeting a friend from work at her place and I'll spend the afternoon with her and her 2 boys. Should be fun.
I know guys who did not do laundry at all in college. They did, however, do the drying. As in, toss their old clothes into the dryer with a bounce sheet they stole from someone else in the laundry room and have magically 'clean' smelling clothes. :P
