Have you ever crashed a wedding?
CCBean got me thinking about a time I crashed a wedding. Well...sort of crashed/then was invited in. I was in LA for work. I was out with some vendors, and we were at this restaurant that also had a reception venue. I was walking past the wedding (with a co-worker/friend) on my way back from the bathroom when a drunken groomsmen came out to grab us to the dance floor. We danced for a while, but then felt badly. We started to walk out when the bride came over and invited us to stay!
Re: Have you ever crashed a wedding?
Haha, that's too funny!
I've never crashed a wedding but a couple of our GMs kind of crashed another party at our venue and "borrowed" something from them. Chinese wedding receptions have these games, one of which involves an egg. Well, no one in our wedding party brought an egg but there happened to be a red egg and ginger party (it's something Chinese people do for babies around the 1-month mark) on the other side of our partition that separated our room from the rest of the floor. So the GMs took one of their eggs...well, maybe they asked permission, but I kind of doubt it.
I was so confused at first why the egg was dyed red until they told me. I have some klassy friends
