This is bad.

I went grocery shopping this morning so I wouldn't have an excuse to eat out.

Now it's dinner time and there isn't anything here I feel like having.

  • I was supposed to eat leftovers for dinner.  Instead, I ate a bag of popcorn (100 calorie), a pudding cup, almonds, and frozen yogurt.  I feel accomplished

  • I'm supposed to have chicken, avocado, and bean burritos tonight, but I'd much rather go out and buy a Ben and Jerry's. It's just been one of those days.

    Yeah, I don't feel better at all about that choice. I'm no help.

    I think my strategy will be to have a snack to hold me over for another hour or so, and then all the places I want to get food from will be closed. Then I will have no choice but to eat something at home.

  • Don't do it!!! We did that last night and now I don't want to cook again because its hot and my kitchen is a mess and it was a really long day. I should just suck it up and go make what I was going to make.

    Seriously! I need to go get my booty moving so we can have them for dinner. I'll let you know how they turn out. We are having green beans too.

  • I feel you! I am that way all of the time.  Took fish out the other day to cook it.  Ended up eating cheese and crackers followed by weight watchers ice cream sandwhich.  I mean at least it was weight watchers right?
  • Glad to know I'm not the only one who resorts to less than healthy snack food on days like this. My go-tos tend to be granola bars and cereal, or pop tarts and soda. Yep, we eat healthy around this joint...lol

  • I didn't feel like doing much last night, so it was fried eggs with salsa...  That's one of my go-to meals when I don't want to do anything.  (yeah, it's still cooking, but it's done in minutes, and dirties only one pan, and I can pretend it's kinda healthy...)

     

    That or freezer food is what I default to when I don't feel like cooking.
