I was looking for hotels for my stay next weekend. We were told to stay somewhere in uptown. The hotels in uptown were upwards of $200. Fairmont doesn?t look all that far away (short cab ride or long walk from the area a friend wants to meet up for a night out) and would be $337 with taxes in a "gold" king. The "gold" is $24 more a night but includes a breakfast (2 people) along with some other stuff that doesn?t correlate into real money savings or additions (like a skyline view).
Worth it? Or are we getting to far away from the prime nightlife areas that we would be just as well off looking at hotels in different areas and cabbing it to where we want to go?
