Re: Jill070707-
Where is your infestation? In your living area or like the basement?

how bad is this that I have no idea....they have now been laying on EVERYTHING it is totally disgusting to me, but I mainly think it is in the living room.
Thanks!
So do I just put in on the couch and then vacum it off, and directly on the fur of the cats? sorry if this is dumb question
I wrote you a detailed post about this, and the nest went down! Grrrrr.
Okay! So K's right - get the big bag. First, vacuum everything super well. Make sure to throw the bag away or empty the can outside in a garbage bag and hose it out if you can. I'm sure you know to wash things in super hot water and bathe the cats if you can. (I have dogs, so bathing wasn't an issue!)
Then you sprinkle all this around. I wore a dustmask because it's supposed to be harmful if inhaled. I really rubbed it into the carpet and couches and sprinkled on the bare floors. I also rubbed it into the dogs' fur. Some people say not to do this, but I was desperate and it's food grade. So use your judgement! I'm not sure about cats, since they lick...maybe ask around on the Pets board?
Then I left for a few hours. When I got back, I vacuumed everything really well again. I bathed and brushed out the dogs (outside). I sprinkled some in the yard, too, in case they were in the grass. I have a small yard.
I think it took two applications before everything was mostly clear, and then I reapplied twice more. Once a week is what's recommended.
I really hope this works for you! I know they're so hard to get rid of and SO creepy. Hang in there!
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
