Places that overnight ship food
One of the reps that works for DH lost his sister to cancer this week, and DH wants to send the family something. He was thinking Edible Arrangements, but they do not deliver in their area (near Roanoke). What other places are out there that would ship something? Thinking less of a food basket and more of a meal or snack or a dessert that could be enjoyed by the family and visitors as the day goes on. All I can think of is honeybaked ham, and DH doesn't want to go that route (he hates ham!).

Pie Gourmet in Fairfax ships nationally and their chicken pot pies and apple pies are delicious. I had them sent to my BFF when she had a baby, and she said it was perfect for having when there was little time or desire to cook but they wanted a good meal. You can also go to their shop and place an order. They are located off the Nutley St. exit on 66.
