The board is back! Finally!
How is everyone today? I'm much more rested, and it feels great. I crawled into bed with my book around 9-9:30 and fell asleep shortly after. Derek got home around 1:30 (!!!) so I talked with him then, but I slept pretty well!
Tonight we've got baseball, though I think Derek might be skipping it to just sleep. The team we're playing is 0-22 and we creamed them the first time we played them.
What does everyone have on the go today?

I had an awesome interview this morning, and I'm really hoping I get the position. It would be perfect, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they call me with good news Monday.
Today we're packing for our vacation up north and I'm really looking forward to going to the wineries!

Good Morning!
I'm glad the nest is back. I'm feeling better today. Yesterday I was in a funk. I just wanted to get a lot of errands done around the house. I feel better having gotten them done.
Tonight marks our Date-aversary. DH and I have been together for 8 years.
In a little while I'm off to a delivery. I have a huge custom bench and breakfast table arriving. The table is 8' custom. I can't wait to see it in person. For now I'm back to drafting and designing a remodel of a master bathroom.
I was starting to think today was going to be the longest day ever with the site down.
Yesterday was a crazy day. I left for lunch and walked outside and walked up and saw a bleeding guy on the sidewalk. A cop had just showed up - but basically I saw a stabbing victim before the medics even got there. Today I get to leave early for my annual exam and though I'm not looking forward to the exam itself - I am liking the idea of being home early. I might buy myself takeout on my way home and have a lazy night. I just found out I get the Cooking Channel and I'm enjoying the change of pace.

I *had* planned to do some preserving today (elderberry jam, bourbon poached peaches), but it's already pretty steamy in here and I don't want to heat things up further. I may just start the elderberry jam, as it needs to sit overnight... So... I don't know!
It's our anniversary today and we have ZERO plans. I feel pretty ambivalent about it, to be honest. I feel like Hawaii was one gigantic celebration. Plus, we just paid for our tuition for the year, and we're rather suddenly down more than 2k.
I'd forgotten that Phil has to pay all his CGA stuff upfront.

Good morning ladies! I'm at work, I got my to-do list ready and have a bunch of things to work on this morning. My morning coffee is extra good today, but it may just be that I'm glad it's finally Thursday.
Tonight will be pretty low key. My mom and I are going shopping later. She's mostly coming along to help watch Olivia while I shop but that's fine with me. Have a great day ladies!
Morning everyone! I'm so glad it's finally Thursday and the weekend is finally in sight. Today should be a really busy work day, followed by the gym, some house cleaning, and reading/relaxing.
Yesterday's vet visit was fairly reassuring. As suspected, the vet put Casey on sterroids, and we are seeing a slight improvement already. This morning B found Casey on a different dog bed than the one he left him on before going to sleep. Casey hasn't gotten up on his own for over 2 weeks, so we're both really excited. I just hope the improvement continues.
Aside from all that, our bathroom now has plumbing. I sooooo can't wait until it is done, but it's gonna be awhile longer I think. This weekend we need to pick out the paint color and maybe some accessories.

Things have finally calmed down at work and I'm feeling very relieved. I've spent most of the morning browsing online for D&R stuff for our living room and kitchen as well as some DIY fall decorations.
Tonight J and I are meeting up with my mom for dinner at a Mexican restaurant, I'm looking forward to having a margarita out on the patio.
Today has been great, I found out I got my raise I'd been hoping for! And it's a beautiful sunny day here in MT. H left town for his cousin's bachelor party today, I'll be heading out tomorrow night for the wedding on Saturday. I'm nervous for him, he's BM so he has to give a speech!

Afternoon, ladies! Just got back from a work lunch that was delicious and informative. I think I'm catching onto this whole new job thing.
Last night was spent clearing out our cabinets so they can do a pest spraying today (sigh . . . we have a neighbor who owns his condo and isn't the cleanest guy ever; we get to suffer the effects of it). Tonight will be spent putting everything back in--and this after we did our cabinet lining project! Oh well.

Afternoon! I am enjoying my quiet house right now. My ILs have been here for the last two days and they are draining, though we did go play mini-golf last night which was fun and broke up the evening a bit. This morning we went out to breakfast and then this afternoon they left and Ed left to go play golf. He won't be home until 9ish tonight, so I get the afternoon to recover from the company.
I may go for a short run this afternoon or I may take a nap.

Good Afternoon ladies.
Well today has been crazy busy, but it is a much better day. It started off with DH telling me that he made a mistake on his schedule and he now has to work Saturday night. Of course I cried since we were actually going to do something with just the two of us Saturday, but then he told me he was getting up at noon today, and was going to try harder and getting the whole sleep thing under control. That put a huge smile on my face!
Well, my work day is over and I so ready to go give my boys some loving. Have a great evening ladies!

I've been lurking but pretty absent from posting since we were so busy with moving. We are all moved into the new house and the kitties are adjusting pretty well. Winston kept banging on our bedroom door and meowing last night and then I was up from 2am to 3:30 with a horrible headache so I'm pretty exhausted today.
I'm on vacation for the next week! However, I do have an evening shift at a retail pharmacy tomorrow night.
